Educational Coordinator

Francesca De Rose

Francesca has devoted her professional life to education, driven by the belief that school is the place where the foundations of the future are laid. After qualifying as a primary teacher and earning a degree in Law, she spent fourteen years teaching in state primary schools, embracing education as a deeply relational and purposeful profession.

She went on to serve for eight years as a Headteacher, first in a comprehensive school and later in a state high school. During this time, she developed extensive experience in leading complex educational environments and nurturing professional communities. She further strengthened her leadership expertise by completing a University Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Organisational Development.

A significant personal and professional turning point came with motherhood and her encounter with the work of Maria Montessori. In Montessori’s vision, she recognised an approach to education as a meaningful accompaniment to life itself — one that honours each child’s individuality and natural pace of development. She later obtained her Montessori Specialisation Diploma, consolidating a pedagogical choice that now guides her work as Coordinator.

Francesca believes in the role of the adult as a careful observer and thoughtful guide, mindful — as Montessori reminds us — that “any unnecessary help is an obstacle to development.” For her, education means creating the conditions in which every child can build themselves with independence, confidence and a sense of responsibility, within a competent, cohesive and forward-looking educational community.
