An obvious psychological transformation features a child of this age group who is capable of adapting and handling to any  new situations which may arise. 

He appears to have greater confidence in himself and is impatient to communicate with others; he has ability of initiative, of concentration, manipulation, vivid imagination…. etc so much so that as soon as he grasps on to the actual concept he gradually disregards the use of supporting materials. The areas of interest are really vast: the child wants to learn more about the animal world, vegetation and plants, more about the universe, geography,  the story and origin of mankind;  he wants to compare cause and effect through his own direct experiences.  Infact, the primary school environment  is similar to a research laboratory where children of different ages may work together in a group, making their own experiences and discoveries. With the guidance of adults it is with this exchange of ideas and reciprocal help that one learns how to grow-up respecting the social rules.The presence of the teacher is for giving support and advice and there are no grades or other forms of reward or punishment;  the assessment lies in the accomplishment and behavior of the children, their maturity, concentration and love of learning.
